Pacific Rim - Stallone Selvaggio

This piece was created for a contest on IGN to design your own Pacific Rim Jaeger. It was such a fun experience and a co-worker actually ended up winning the grand price; a 3D printer.

My thought process for this was to create an agile boxer type Jaeger. It was something that I felt wasn't fully explored in the first movie. Other then it's sleek figure the Jaeger is equipped with giant metal blocks that act as punching pads. The Jaeger can effortless detract and extend the pads at a moments notice.

Some day I'd like to revisit this design and model it in 3D.
