Otto Schmidt Mermaid Study

I came across Otto Schmidts work and was really taken back by his beauty and simplicity he places in his drawings. I wanted to re-create one of his pieces in 3D. Granted I'm guilty of this but I wanted to create an appealing cartoony female that didn't look like a Chris Sanders or Disney inspired piece.
